Virginia Konchan is the author of the poetry collections Bel Canto (Carnegie Mellon University Press, 2022),Hallelujah Time (Signal Editions, 2021), Any God Will Do (Carnegie Mellon University Press, 2020), and The End of Spectacle (Carnegie Mellon University Press, 2018) as well as the short story collection Anatomical Gift (Noctuary Press, 2017).She is the coeditor of Marbles on the Floor: How to Assemble a Book of Poems (University of Akron Press, 2023), and a recipient of fellowships from the Amy Clampitt Residency Program, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and Scuola Internazionale di Grafica. Her poems and criticism have appeared in The New Yorker, The New Republic, The Atlantic, The Believer,Boston Review, and the Academy of American Poets’ Poem-a-Day series.
